Jab We Met is a movie that surprises you at every step. Excellent performances by Kareena and Shahid Kapoor, delightful music and a clichéd story told very well. It is a surprise because in past these two actors have not delivered any performance worth talking about. Jab We Met changes that.
The story is nothing unique. It’s about a rich guy who has forgotten how to live and enjoy life meets a cheerful, bubbly full of life girl who makes him realize what he is missing out on. The guy falls for the girl and eventually they get together for the happy ending. This is not the reason why you should watch this movie.
Why Watch Jab We Met
- Career best performances by both Kareena and Shahid – They both fit their roles really well and their off screen chemistry makes the whole love story very real on the screen. A definite career best performance by both of them
- Very entertaining – Jab We Met entertains you every minute. The Punjabi twist with Kareena’s Bhatinda background, missing and catching train and many such sequences keep the story interesting and fun.
- Excellent Music – All the songs are good. Music is a big strength for this movie. Nagada Nagada is a visual delight and will definitely make you groove. Tum se hi is another delight. The other songs Mauja hi Mauja, Yeh Ishq Hai, Aao Milo Chalo and Aaoge Jab Tum are also worth checking out. Jab We Met is composed by Pritam (Life in a Metro fame).
